A beautiful home in Holland

I have to confess, I’m a big, huge house peeper.
I have no shame, I will stretch my neck, climb on something or walk slower backwards just to have a glimpse of someone’s house. That’s why I am very happy that today I can give you all a peek into a beautiful home in the Netherlands.
(and yes, I had permission to do so, no looking through windows or anything…)
It’s the house of my friend Patricia, who I talked about here and here.
Her home is a real family home, warm, romantic and inviting. She was kind enough to let me take some pictures when I was visiting last time, so you all can have a glimpse too!
And did I mention that her husband is a carpenter who has made a lot of the things you see? Like the beautiful details in the kitchen, the headboard in the bedroom or Jiro’s dog house, just to name a few things.
I think they have made this house into a Real Home!
Thanks Patricia for letting us have a peek!

In the mean time, in my eleven day old new house, the dust has settled more or less. We have to live in it a bit more, to see what I can do to make House number 7 (as I like to call it) our Home. So bear with me and hope I can find the battery charger of my camera soon! It’s somewhere in box number 10 or 48….
Oh, before I forget, a quick update about the movie Eat, Pray, Love which I went to see last Friday.
I really liked it! Sure, it’s a women’s movie and you don’t want to take your husband or boyfriend unless you love to hear him sighing, snoring or looking for the exit sign. Other than that, I think I want this one on dvd, so Melissa, go and see it, I think you would love it too!
Also, I would like to say to the new readers of my blog, Welcome and thanks for joining me on this Blog journey. To the people who read it on a daily basis, here is a big kiss from me to you, where ever you are,
*KISS*!

Hi Maureen – fabulous home – I love peeking into other homes as well – a habit my dad taught me growing up living in the building game! So pleased you enjoyed Eat Pray Love – I did enjoy it but can’t quite pinpoint what it was that was lacking. Thanks stopping by again – so lovely to have you visit. Leanne xxxx
