Pink October

“I believe in Pink.
I believe that Laughing is the best calorie burner.
I believe in Kissing, Kissing a lot.
I believe in Being Strong when everything seems to be going wrong.
I believe that Happy Girls are the Prettiest girls.
I believe that Tomorrow is another day and
 I Believe in Miracles.”

Audrey Hepburn
May 4, 1929 – January 20, 1993

Audrey Hepburn was not only a great actress,
she was also a great ambassador for Unicef.
Today I learned that she was half Dutch and
died as the result of cancer, in her home in Switzerland.
I also learned that she believed in a lot of things,
we all can relate to,
 so well…
To support the fight against breast cancer, Saskia from Join my Joy
has a small give away till Friday.
Hop over if you haven’t been there yet, she is lovely!

Thank you Maureen for sharing this lovely post.
I think we all need to be reminded of this very important issue, the fight against breast cancer.
Wasn’t Audrey the most fabulous Lady.

    Happy Thursday

Hey Maureen, your friend’s home is lovely. Maybe I can send my chicken to go live with Jiro in his sweet little house. :)

So many people have said they didn’t like Eat Pray Love, but I enjoyed the book a lot, and saw lengthy previews of the movie and know that it would be something I would like to see. My girlfriend said that Julia Roberts plays the part really well.

Hope settling in at number 7 is going well on this 7th day of October. :) best wishes, Tammy
