Excusez-moi… and a list of four

Oh boy!

Have you read my last post? The one where I talked about getting my Stylish blogger Award from Maaike? Where I thanked her for thinking of me and then totally forgot to pass my award on to some other Stylish people? No? You didn’t notice it or Yes? You did notice it but thought that it was probably a typical Maureen-forgets-everything-if-her-head-would-not-be-screwed-on-moment?
Right…. I will continue as if nothing happened….

I would like to pass this award to also three people,
just like Maaike did, I too believe that it’s a better number.
Ladies, do with it what you want,
tell us 7 things about yourself if you feel like it, but don’t feel obligated.

I pass it on because I think you and your blog are great!

So, the Oscar, eh…. I mean the Stylish Blogger Award goes to:
Melissa from Miss Sew and So
Thanks girls for making blogging so much fun!

Well, on with the post I had planned for today.

I was tagged in December (sorry for the wait!) by Courtney from Vintch. I already told you how much I love the way she writes. She has a true gift with words and she asked me to make a List of Four. So finally I am sitting down long enough to think about this. I will not make long comments on them, but if you want to know more, I’ll be happy to answer with a longer version. So, a list of four things all Maureen related…..

Warning: for the people who are not interested anymore, I’ve put some tea and cookies outside in the garden, help your self on your way out and I’ll see you back another time, ok?

For all of you who are still reading, come sit by the fire….. want some more tea or coffee?…. Some cake anyone?…. Good, let’s start with this list of four:

4 shows I watch:
Relocation, Relocation, UK
Homes under the Hammer, UK
Desperate Housewives, USA
X-factor, UK

4 things I’m passionate about
Chocolate
Reading
Seaside living
and of course Talking

4 phrases I say a lot
‘No, really?’
‘Oh, sh** I forgot …’
‘Hello! I’m talking to you!’
‘I love you’

4 things I’ve learned from the past
To be more patient
That I’m not good at it
To be more careful what I wish for
That some things happened  for a reason

4 places I would like to go
Australia
Bali
Japan
Ibiza

Ok, let’s have a little break…. More tea anyone?….. Yes, you can use the restroom, it’s to the right…… Sure, you can have the last cupcake, bought it myself….. So, are you still with me?

4 things I did yesterday
Blogging in my pj’s
Teaching my youngest a game
Thinking about the gym with cookie in hand
Walking Mackenzie (she also says Hi/Woof to you all)

4 things I’m looking forward to
Summer time
Sunshine
Weekend trips
New sandals

4 things I love about winter
I.don’t.like.winter.very.much…..
Looking at snow, while sitting by the fire
Winter clothes, especially scarfs, boots and hats
The last day of it
Drinking hot chocolate with whipped cream

4 things on my wish list
Moving to a warmer climate
Starting my own business again
Finishing my Project
Staying a healthy and happy family, just as we are now

Now I do know that this is not to everybody’s cup of tea, to make lists or talk about personal things, so I do hope that you will understand that, even though I enjoyed doing this, I will not tag someone else but ask that if you want to make your own list of four, please do so and let me know, I would love to read it!

Thanks again Courtney, it was fun thinking of these things!

See you soon!
Maureen
xx

Hi Maureen, you are good at these list things. I can never, ever think of anything different or interesting to say. My creative brains just seems to gone into hibernation or something. Since going back to school last week, time has not been on my side. :/ Sending warm wishes your way. xxx Tammy

Oh, Sweetie! Thanks so much for this. You’ve just made my day ☺. Cripes – I don’t think I’ve been called ‘stylish’ before!

And I *loved* finding out more about you. You should let ‘Maureen’ out more often! You must visit me if you make it Down Under, okay? And we can share a hot chocolate, all right? Oh, and what’s your ‘Project’?! Do share. J x

Hi Maureen, Congratulations on your award! I already follow Miss Sew & So, and have now got some other blogs to read. I was sat here nodding my head at your list, I totally love anything with Kirstie Allsopp (so big tick to Relocation, Relocation) and boots, scarves and watching the snow from the fireside!
I moved from Australia to a cold climate, but I do understand that desire to move from a cold to warm as well.
Hope you’re having a lovely week – Melissa xx
