Hop and Skip

First I want to say
WELCOME
to my new readers on Google and Blogfrog!

To my Silent readers, also Welcome!
If you want to comment or just want to say Hi,
please feel free to send me an email!

And each and everyone of you who leaves me comments,

THANK YOU!

It always makes me smile to see that more people are coming
to my little corner here in Blogland.

Ok, so ask me what I did Sunday and Monday evening {long after midnight…}
“What did you do Maureen?”
Well, since you asked….
I’ve found an ever so cute little girl!
Not a real one, I have two of those here at home.
I already mentioned once that I love Lola (from Charlie & Lola),
but since I discovered  Belle and her best friend Boo, Lola has got some competition.
Meet Belle & Boo and their creator Mandy.
Mandy is an illustrator and together with her friend Kate,
runs this lovely label, Belle & Boo, which is created with love and passion.
How I know that she has passion for her art you might think?
Well, I spend those two nights reading all her blog posts,
and I mean all, starting from 2007 till yesterday. And I think she is doing a wonderful job!
Together with Kate, and the team in Bristol, the Belle & Boo brand is growing.

I love stories where women entrepreneurs are doing their thing with success and I truly liked reading her blog. Her love for travelling and how she started in the lounge {having to share it with her boyfriend Russ}, to a new studio in her garden, to branching out to Bristol,
to attending her first trade fair, I couldn’t stop reading!

I found myself totally being drawn into her world and Belle’s. I also spend some time reading the heart breaking story behind her Ava drawings {there is a link to Ava’s mum’s blog, post 23/8/2007}.

I still love reading children’s books and lately we have a Winnie the Pooh love affair going on here {my youngest just discovered his little world}. Belle reminds me of the same setting as where Winnie is living, that little world where you can go and everything will be alright.

Ok, I count myself lucky to have a very active imagination, but you don’t need that to see how wonderful Mandy has created Belle & Boo’s little world. They sell items that are perfect for a child’s room, lovely gifts, clothes, cushions, mugs and the latest, a Belle & Boo to do book.
I am waiting for mine! {Eh,…I mean, for my girls….}

So if you want, hop and skip to Mandy’s blog, website or Etsy store
and I hope that you, like me,
will be mesmerized with this little girl, her friends and Mandy.

* Thank you again Mandy for letting me show your images! *

See you soon everyone!
Maureen

Belle and Boo certainly do look like delightful little creations. I might just pop over and see about a little book for my one year old granddaughter! As you quite rightly say, how wonderful to see women entrepeneurs being successful in whatever field they operate. Well done to Mandy & Kate !

Such sweet images. I can see why you would be mesmerized. I remember when I first found Creative Carmelina, I went through every single one of her posts. She is one talented lady and I love to see what folks are able to create with their own hands and then how they use it in their artwork. Thanks for sharing Belle and Boo. best wishes, Tammy

Oh, gorgeous Belle and Boo is so so much present in my home ^_^ The cute Summer dress, the stickers, the notebooks, the mugs, tons of cards, the cute stuffed little lady you are showing here, cannot never get enough of all the bittersweetness Mandy creates.
Have a lovely evening, Maureen, einen guten Abend, Alles liebe xxxxx

yes I do recommend that you wet and condition your hair after working out with the curl. But I have to tell you conditioner does not cleanse your scalp, I do not understand why everyone is saying that it does. Conditioner build up is just as worst as product build up. If you are working out your scalp needs to be cleansed at least one a week

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for pointing me in the direction of those two blogs! I just followed them both and I’ve been so enjoying looking around their space! The lovely charms that Juicy Christian sells are just darling. You are a gem, Maureen, for pointing them out to me and for thinking of me. Have a beautiful weekend:)
